Nightclan camp

In a forest of pine trees, the soft pine needles make good soft spots for foals to rest. the horses have also built several dens using the tightly grown trees as stableizers. its shelted and always rather warm

Spottedsun watched as her leader headed in the direction of pine forest. She wondered if there was something bothering him. She shook out her mane because it was all going different direction and she looked weird. hearing her belly rumble at her she figure that she should go out and find something to eat.

Nightstar returned with a large bunch of hay being carried between his strong jaws. he placed it on the fresh hay pile and said to spottedsun "we have secured an alliance with Swiftclan, Swiftstar is dead now his Warchief Eagle is Cheftian."

Spottedsun saw the black stallion come into camp with a load of hay. " im sorry about the dead of Swiftstar, but im glad for Eaglerstar." " and it feels good to know that we still have an alliance with Swiftclan." " come Nightstar you must be hungry," Spottedsun said as she headed towards the fresh hay pile.

Nightstar walked over and began nibbling at the hay, his ears swivled around as he said to his trusty warchief "yes, we must begin planning an attack on Oceanclan, they have been trespassing over the border for far too long". he waited to hear what his Warchief would say about this. he had Chosen Spottedsun to become his Warchief as she always gave sound counsel.

Spottedsun swallow the hay that she was chewing on and stomp her feet out of frustration. "Why do those idiots keep crossing the border." " are they looking to try and take over our land?" " well anyways, i believe we should at least talk to the leader and give them a warning and if they dont heed it, i say we attack." "That way at least they know why we attacked them."

The black stallion thought about her words as he chewed thoughtfully. "good Point spottedsun, then they cant cry and say that we did not give them a fair warning. also if we do attack, we attack at night, for Nightclan is the best at manuvering through the lands at night" he smiled a little at Spottedsun, he remembered gifting her with the first bear pelt he had caught. he had killed the bear then skinned it and gave the pelt to her. it was widley known that he had a bit of a soft spot for the pretty Warcheif.

" right, i dont want them to try and make us out to be the enemies." she responed to Nightstar. " and yes, it would be best to attack at night, because we can move silently through the forest. Spottedsun broke off another piece of hay and chewed it, afterwards saying " Nightstar i really am honored to be your warchief."

He gave her a comforting smile and went back to eating hungrily. his long black tail flicking, he had said in that simple look that he was glad that she was his warchief.

Spottedsun looked at Nightstars eyes and his eyes said it all. She went back the eating. i will protect this place with all i have, she thought to herself.

Nightstar lifted his head and regarded Spottedsun, he grinned slightly and swished his black tail"come spottedsun, let us go and patrol the oceanclan border". as usual his baritone thunder rumbled in his chest. he turned and flicked an ear asking for her to come with him. he broke into a light canter. his heavy hooves flicking up puffs of dust as he moved out.

As her leader started to canter, and she followed suit. "Nightstar we should just go for a run once in a while, but when things calm down a little." She said hoping the run would help him, because she noticed that he was a little tense. " how about it?" Spottedsun asked as they were on their way to the Oceanclan border.
