The medicine horse code

1. You are not allowed to have a mate or give birth to foals
2. You must treat, heal, and protect all horses equally
3. You must ignore and not have any and all rivalry with those not in your clan
4. You must meet with starclan and the other medicine horses at the moonstone at the half-moon
5. You must take on an to-be (and have them fully-named) before stepping down from the medicine horse position for free will, force, or death reasons.
6. You must have basic fighting and hunting knowledge by the time you have your full med horse name.
7. To the best of your abilty, you must keep a good stock of all herbs at all times, even in leaf-bare
8. When treating an injured chief, you must make sure that all other injured horses are treated before you work on treating the chief.
9. A medicine horse rejects the life of a brave, for that is not their true destiny.
